For this week's #JapanCultureCorner, Mrs. Saikawa is sharing her works of ikebana, flower arrangement 🌸⁣⁣ ⁣ She has been practicing flower arrangement for about 10 years, and held lessons for parents and children while she was living in Japan.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Recently, she has been doing flower arrangement lessons with friends in the Nashville area. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Mrs. Saikawa often went to view seasonal flowers and ikebana exhibits. She also often looks at flower books, such as "Hanajikan" and "Florist", to put her heart at ease and relieve stress. Those give inspiration to her artwork.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We hope you enjoy the images of her works, and the short video of the "Shoka Shimputai" style of arrangement! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 今週の日本文化コーナーは，斎川領事夫人による生け花のご紹介です。⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 斎川夫人は１０年前よりフラワーアレンジメント，生け花を学び，日本では親子向けのフラワーアレンジメントのレッスン(花育)を開催していました。⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ナッシュビルでもボランティアでフラワーアレンジレッスンを開催しています。⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 季節の花を見に行ったり、花展や華道展もよく見に行っていたそうです。また「花時間」や「フローリスト」といった花の雑誌を読むのが趣味で，作品のインスピレーションを得ることもあるそうです。⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 斎川夫人による作品の写真，そして生花正風体の作品を集めたビデオです。
